OK, this one’s a bit of a cheat as it’s actually footage from a recent Slash and the Conspirators gig which took place in Mumbai, India. The footage seems to have been taken from up a crane or a wobbly balcony on a tower block, but holy crap – listen to the voices.
I’d not like to say how many people were at the gig (except “thousands”) but you just can’t hear Myles Kennedy doing the vocals underneath them all. The fact that the recording is from behind the stage and speakers likely has something to do with this, but it doesn’t matter. What we have is a brilliant crowd rendition of one of the greatest classic rock tracks of this generation.
Well done, India. As one guy in the comments says, “I think this is why Mumbai has high entertainment tax. We frigging entertain the entertainers.”
