Heading your way on November 4th, The Bad Flowers’ self-titled EP is a lovely blast of 70’s influenced rock music. We liked it, and the band have been picked up to open for Scorpion Child on tour in a couple of weeks.
The band have kindly rattled off a few words about each track that you can check out below.
1. Can you feel it? Is brooding with lyrics straight from a broken heart. Huge energy in this track with pounding drums, bass and a soaring guitars.
2. City Lights was written when the band took a trip to Vienna to play a couple of shows in September 2015 at the height of the refugee crisis huge octave infused riffs that make this the heaviest track on the EP.
3. Big Country is also inspired by our first trips to Europe as a band and traveling across the vast and beautiful landscapes it’s a pure driving song.
4. Run Run Run is purely about being broke! Struggling to pay bills! It’s the most blues orientated track on the EP with a distinctive riffs all the way through.
