Best new band I discovered: Ten Ton Slug
Best live show: Gojira at Bloodstock
Best thing that happened: Obituary touring with Exodus and visiting Glasgow / new Metallica album (and it’s actually decent!)
Worst thing that happened: Bolt Thrower calling it a day.
Overall opinion of 2016 in of music: A pretty decent year with a number of classic bands back with new releases (Gojira, Brujeria and Revocation to name but a few) and heard some great new bands through Moshville Times, such as Ten Ton Slug and Bacterial Husk.
