Brief History: In 1999 Heavenly Recordings set up The Social; a tiny bar-come-venue on a side street close to Oxford Street. Hip Hop Karaoke every Thursday!
Personal Experience: I first experienced The Social when I photographed Never Fade Sessions; a monthly acoustic evening showcasing emerging talent hosted by Never Fade Records, which is co-owned by Gabrielle Aplin.
Notable Acts Played There: Vampire Weekend, Fat Boy Slim, Beck and Jack White.
