In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!
Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.
Name: Agent
From: London
Playing: Sunday, 14:20
Agent are a London-based rock quartet, who’s prog-tinged rock treads a darker path stylistically than that from the rest of the contemporary rock scene. Having moved from New Zealand, the group have been constantly playing gigs, both ing and headlinging their own tours, having shared the stage with such bands as Skindred and Devil Sold His Soul.
The group consists of James Donaldson (guitar and vocals), Daz Carikas (bass and backing vocals), Gerald Gill (guitars), and Dean Gibb (Drums) and they have released two albums, with a third due to be released later this year. Two tracks have already been released from the new album: “Death in the Afternoon” and “When Gods Collide”, debuting on BBC Radio 1’s Dan P. Carter show and Kerrang’s Johnny Doom show respectively.
The group will be playing on the Moshville Times stage at Wildfire Festival this June, and promise to bring a set that you won’t be able to not mosh along to.
