Wildfire Band Profile – Jupiter Falls

In case you didn’t know (get out from under that rock!) we’re hosting a third stage at Wildfire this year on the Saturday and Sunday. Just to make sure you know what mouthwatering musical delights are heading your way, we’ll be featuring a profile of each of “our” bands in the runup!

Wildfire is held at Wiston Lodge, about 30 mins south of Glasgow, from June 23rd to 25th and tickets can be purchased from the official website.

Name: Jupiter Falls

From: Leeds

Playing: Saturday, 16:10

Jupiter Falls formed in 2013 in Leeds and have been quietly building both their live reputation and their fan base. It was however, with this year’s release of second album Faces in The Sand Part One that they really came to the forefront of Moshville Times attention. A truly stunning album that we streamed on our site for an entire week before release. I have not before seen one album get such universal praise from the Moshville Times Crew, with editor Mosh declaring it “the album of 2017 so far”.

Sheggs went into more depth in his review:

This is a band that are on the cusp of greatness in of popularity but have already proved it on record with Faces in the Sand Part One. This is a rollercoaster of a record with emotional highs and lows but they always retain that aloofness and dirty side that you want to see from a band as well.  There are heroes to be made here – make sure that you ride the wave with them.

With an exciting hard rock sound and a depth to their song writing which demands a deep emotional response from the listener, the fact that we have been able to persuade the boys to us on Saturday is a definite highlight of the weekend and a band not be missed.
