Recent headline act and highly rated Londoners, Paradis, are set to unleash their blistering self-titled debut EP on Friday 20th September. The rampant metalcorers have also just release new single, “Walking Aberration”. With this in mind, we exclusively spoke to the band and asked them to give us an exclusive track by track breakdown of their new EP.
Boneyard
A dark and moody track depicting the sad story of a man living in the past, with only the memories of past mistakes to comfort him. Heavy riffs and thunderous drums, mixed with dark synths and harsh vocals, produce a huge atmosphere of dread and foreboding.
After a low point in our musical careers, “Immortal” is a song about rebirth and rising above the ashes of failures that came before. We wrote this song almost as a symbol that we are greater now than we have ever been. A big catchy riff and massive chorus are front and centre for this uplifting anthem.

Reflections
“Reflections” is a fast-paced, hard-hitting track about battling with yourself. We wanted a song that people can really move to while maintaining the feeling of the lyrics. All instruments are playing at neck-breaking speed without the vocals falling behind, and with the chorus releasing all that energy into a hefty sing along.
Storm
“Storm” is a fast-paced song with an irregular structure about the world crashing down around you. After an eerie intro, the song hits with an apocalyptic theme and crushing rhythms, leading to a high flying chorus and trudging breakdown.
“Walking Aberration” is a cathartic head banger aimed at the person that makes you angry. We wrote this track, after all having dealt with this kind of person in the past and created a song to serve as the release for the anger. From the get-go, the pounding riffs don’t let up until the end of the song, which ends with a breakdown that only gets heavier as it goes on.
