Now this pair would have been ideal for Halloween with their melodic death sound, but sadly I missed that date so they’ll have to settle for November 6th instead.
Anyway, I give you Raven X – also known as Nÿx (lyrics/vocals) and Khâos (music/instruments). Their debut album Essence Without Light came out in March and has had very favourable reviews.
Don’t expect Nÿx to hold back on the guttural death vocals because she’s of the female persuasion, either. Full on throat-hoarsening, while still being able to make the lyrics out – not something you encounter often.
