I love the name of this band. “Fisting For Glory” sounds like something from the peak of the German scatalogical adult film industry, but is instead a punk metal foursome from West Yorkshire. The former is definitely shit, the latter more like the shit.
They’re obviously a band with a sense of humour who live for seeing the crowd have a good time. That would explain tweets like this:

So yes, mental. But what’s the music like? The couple of samples I’ve been able to wrap my listening chops round are nicely angry, but also quite uplifting and bouncy. Definitely the stuff a good moshpit is made of.
They do seem to get around a bit so if you see a flyer advertising a live show it’s got to be worth a punt. Let me know what they’re like!
