A friend of mine recommended this motley crew to me as one of her mates plays for them. Beltur are Glasgow-based and made up of of several other local bands who have known each other for some time.
Their aim is to produce simple, old-fashioned rock music that’s pleasing to the ear and easy to sing along to. Check out the sample below to find out if they’ve succeeded! They have some newer tracks up on their soundcloud as well (as of the time of writing/publication), but only for a short time.
From what I can gather, they have a release coming up at the end of April. It’s an EP, and I’m sure there will be a wealth of information on their facebook and twitter feeds as time progresses.
