Another Headline Act as we work our way towards the end of January and further into 2025. This bunch really do rock, and hail from… well, we’ll let them tell you!
Simple things first – where are you from?
We hail from Gävle, Sweden! A medium sized coastal city 2 hours from Stockholm. And we are and have always been I (Olle), Niklas, Ingemar and Simon and we’re childhood friends more or less! Me and Simon formed our first band in our early teens and then the universe (or our choice of highschool) got us together as a quartet.
Which bands have had the biggest influence on you, musically and lyrically?
It’s spread wide throughout the band, but Foo Fighters have always been our collective heroes.
What are the core lyrical themes behind Out Of The Red?
It stretches from the dark and political to absolute baby-simple love mumbling. So it covers life in general. I take great pride in the lyrics, I think they’re great.
How does your EP differ from your earlier work?
The main difference is that it produced, recorded and paid for by ourselves. Recorded mainly in Ingemar’s living room up north in Hälsingland.

You’ve previously toured across Asia and Europe. What have been the biggest cultural shocks and where did they occur?
Funny enough the first thing that comes to my mind is a gig that we did in high-school, 10-12 years back or so. When we barely called ourselves Greybeards. We played with our classmates at a middle school in England, and I entered the stage screaming “Are you fucking ready?”. That wasn’t too appreciated.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
It’s a tie between Niklas hitting a fan in the eye with his drumstick when he was trowing it out into an ocean of people in Chengdu, China or witnessing a competition in eating a raw yellow onion in the shortest amount of time (I think) at MotoFest 48 Rus, in Russia.
What are your plans for the next 6 months or so?
We’re hosting a release-party on the 8th of March in our hometown, that’s gonna be epic. My sister’s band Vildvittra are opening act.
