Not just a great cover, but a great video as well. As a bonus, it’s not the only track these guys have done either. From what I can see with a quick scan down their YouTube channel, they’ve got quite the little collection of cover versions. Not all are metal (Livin’ La Vida, for instance, and some U2 numbers), but I’m all for variety.
Luka Sulic and Stjepan Ha are from Croatia. They covered Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” which wet viral on YouTube and resulted in Sony suing them offering them a contract. Amazingly. They opened for Elton John as well.
And I just realised how that last sentence sounded, but I’m going to leave it for all you other dirty-minded freaks.
It takes a little while into the video before you hear those opening notes that’ll make you sit up and pay attention. But once they get going, pay attention you will! The video has been up on YouTube for four days and has just ed half a million views. Go and add to that!
