So it turns out there’s a small festival each year honouring Dimebag Darrell, called Dimebash. This year’s included the usual smattering of musicians (Phil Anselmo, Robert Trujillo, Dave Lombardo and many more).
In amongst the handful of videos that popped up online was this one. Machine Head’s Robb Flynn doubles up with Dave Grohl to play a great cover of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”. I picked this one as I swear I this being the song Robb was playing when I sat through MH’s soundcheck in Glasgow last year. Even if it wasn’t, it’s a great live song and completely at odds with the music he usually plays.
