More famous for their video game themed output, Double Experience also do a good line in covers. As well as Blue Oyster Cult’s “Godzilla”, on current album Unsaved Progress, they just dropped this little nugget on us.
Originally released by Weezer in 1994, which featured a brilliant Happy Days video, Double Experience have gone the complete opposite end of the scale to produce a ridiculously cheap video… which still showcases the fact that the band are all about the fun. It’s also quite literally a Weezer cover… the plain blue background is a riff on the sleeve for the Weezer “Blue” album!
