Classic Covers: Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics – Creep

Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics’ new album The Man With Stars On His Knees is coming out very soon, and a huge influence on the record came from 90’s rock.

Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, The Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam amongst others all played their part in influencing this record alongside a band that had killer grooves and some top-class songs; Stone Temple Pilots.

Here’s a tip of the hat in their direction recorded at Plus 11 Recording Studio – long live the legacy of Scott Weiland [1967 – 2015]. This is “Creep” from the 1992 Core album. Inspired by the MTV sessions.

You can catch the band next summer at Scotland’s Wildfire Festival.
