Beyond Chronicles got in touch as we featured one of their videos way back in the mists of time when we only crammed four videos into our daily roundup. They’re back, and this time with a very metallic cover of Imagine Dragons’ “Warriors”.
While the original isn’t a bad track at all (understatement), Beyond Chronicles have taken that atmospheric original and encased it in spiky-encrusted platemail. This muscular yet soft-hearted song has been given a metal shell. Beyond Chronicles’ take on the track has lost none of the original’s hook or lyrical flair, instead adding to rather than changing it.
This is the stuff of which great covers are made.
