The Daydream District have released a lyric video for their new single, a cover of Eels’ “Novocaine For The Soul” out now on Golden Robot Records. It’s a cracking little cover of a song I enjoyed very much back in the day when it was released, and it’s nice to be reminded of it!
The Daydream District is the brainchild of husband and wife Scott and Jeni Ivey. Part rock, part pop, part 90s alternative, The Daydream District brings an eclectic fusion of sound that spirals through different genres. Their version of “Novocaine For The Soul” brings their uniquely crafted pop melody to a new generation with a revived rock spirit.
