Four dates into their UK tour and Jon Davis of Scouse metallers Conan took time out of his hectic schedule to park his bum in the tour van and answer a few questions with yours truly.
Jon’s not one to pigeon-hole his band’s style, but he does have a lot to say about the creative process of each of their lengthy songs. Each a slow, heavy, bass-laden opus detailing a tale of Viking or mythical battle. And each, despite the tone of the music, a song of victory.
