Interview: The Burning Crows

The Burning Crows - Murder at the Gin House[avatar =”Ross” size=”50″ align=”left” /]The sun is out in Glasgow (for once) and The Burning Crows and Falling Red are due to descend on Ivory Blacks for an evening of entertainment. I amble from the pub around to the Alexander Thompson hotel and wander into the residents lounge where there’s no sign of life. Just as I get back to the hallway, out steps Lance, guitarist of The Burning Crows and frontman, Whippz from the lift. We exchange greetings and naturally head for the bar. They tell me about their experience of Bannerman’s in Edinburgh and it’s not long before we’re ed by bassist Will Lockett and drummer Chris Chapman. There’s no sense of urgency so we grab some fancy lounge seating, Lance remarking the lounge seems like a high-class gentleman’s club where extraordinary bets are made.

I should note, certain pieces of the interview were cut as both the band and I felt they were a bit offensive to post. But don’t worry, there’s still lots of hilarity to be had.
