I was fortunate enough to catch up with Christofer Johnsson of Therion before their impressive gig in Glasgow (you can read the review here). A sound check was going on in the venue so the interview took place on their tour bus. We chat about the tour, his new project the Luciferian Light Orchestra, why it’s taken Therion 18 years to come back, the forthcoming rock opera, and a movie soundtrack among other subjects.
As a bonus Christofer was feeling a tad peckish so we popped out for something to eat and continued to chat over dinner. Unfortunately none of this conversation appears in the interview but should I ever be lucky enough to do another interview at a later date I’ll possibly ask him about some of the stuff we talked about.
