Cruel Minded Hardcore just announced a show with the best Scottish lineup 2016 has seen so far. For anyone with even a ing interest in hardcore, a bill featuring Riot Conduct, Revolve, Eternal War, Deceit, and Revulsion needs no introduction. It looks set to be a real celebration of one of the most vibrant, creative, and energetic scenes in the country, if not hardcore worldwide!
Whether you’re completely new to hardcore, looking to catch up with some of the newer bands on the scene, or just want to some killer heavy music from Scotland, you definitely don’t want to miss this gig! So, to whet our appetites, we’ve been catching up with each of the bands on the bill in quickfire Q&A sessions. This time we have metalcore mob Eternal War!
How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard you before?
Eternal War goes for the 90’s metal/metalcore sound.
What can we expect from your live show?
A few mosh calls…
Where are you from? How long have you been playing together?
We’re all from Glasgow and the current lineup has been together for about a year.
Which bands would you say influenced you?
All Out War, Irate, Machine Head, Poison the Well, etc.
Which band are you most looking forward to watching at this show?
Riot Conduct: first time seeing them and their sound is something this scene has lacked in for a while. Hopefully they change that.
Any big plans for 2016?
We’ll be releasing a split with Revolve in the next couple of months, followed by a weekender in the U.K.
Eternal War will play with Riot Conduct, Revolve, Deceit, and Revulsion at Glasgow’s Audio on Monday 14th March.
