Is this your first Bloodstock?

Playing yes, but we’ve all been here quite a few times in the past.

How would you compare your experience this time to previous times?

It’s no different as we queued up like everyone else and are camping like everyone else. However, we get to come back here and drink Black Sabbath Ale.

What would you say has led to the festival selling out?

Probably because there is a bit of everything to be honest. I think it’s that variety which had led to it selling out this year.

What are your plans for this year?

Write, record, get shit done basically. Our drummer is off to Wales to do his masters so we are going to primarily write some stuff. We’re also playing Castlefest in Luton in September which’ll be good.

What changes would you make to the festival?

Erm… no. The one change I would have suggested has been implemented already which is good. That change would have been a bigger New Blood stage but they’ve done that already.

What bands would you put on if you were in charge of the bill?

I’d probably put on Persefone, Gojira, Vader and lots of interesting other bands. I think the New Blood stage this year is awesome. They keep the underground live and healthy and that’s what matters I think.
