As ever, we’re going to try and cover every single Jäger, New Blood and SOPHIE stage band before Bloodstock kicks off on August 10th. Your chance to check them out and start planning which bands to get there early for!
Trust us when we tell you that this is bound to result in some frustrating clashes because, as ever, there are some great bands on these three stages.

The One Hundred – Sophie Lancaster Stage, Saturday
Simple things first – Where are you guys from?
We are from London.
How long have you guys been playing together?
We’ve been a band since 2013, but played our first show in 2014.
Where does the band name come from?
It’s not a very interesting story. We basically just went through over 100 names and just decided to settle on The One Hundred. Naming a band is never easy!
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
It’s always a quite a difficult question to answer because we are such a diverse of blend of genres. We’re metal and rock influenced with hip hop, R&B, and dance also playing a big part. Imagine Slipknot mixed with Lil Uzi Vert.
What’s your live show like? Why are people going to watch you instead of another band?
Full of energy, fast paced, we feed off the crowd, so the more energy we get back the better! I think we offer something completely unique in a world of mediocre rock and metal. We want people to come intrigued and leave as a fan!
Have you played Bloodstock before? If so, when? And tell us about the experience.
We’ve never played the festival before, but a few of the band have been as punters a few years back and said that it’s one of the coolest festivals they’ve been to in the UK.
How/when did you find out that you’d be playing the SOPHIE stage at Bloodstock?
We found out earlier in the year and when we heard, we were stoked because it’s a different audience we’ve yet to play to, so it should be interesting to see their reaction!
What sort of setlist can we expect?
Because we have quite a diverse sound, we are able to tailor our set to different audiences. So depending where we play, we can decide what songs will go down best.
Which main stage band do you most hope you’re not clashing with so you can see them play?
I’m a big fan of Municipal Waste, I saw them a few years ago at Bloodstock, so hoping to catch them. If we end up clashing with them, I might have to find us a stand in bassist!
What are you working on at the moment? Can we expect any new releases in the future, or perhaps sneak peaks at Bloodstock?
We have recently put out our debut album Chaos and Bliss, so we are currently promoting that so expect a lot of songs off of it in our set.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done on tour?
I think the whole experience of playing three arena shows with with Alice Cooper and Motley Crüe was pretty wild for a small band with a totally different sound. We’ll all that for a long time!
And finally, if you had to pick one drink, which would it be: Jager, Hobgoblin Ale, Kraken, Kingstone Press Cider, Kaltenberg Beer, or Bulleit Bourbon? And yes, we will be counting all of the votes!
Bulleit Bourbon because I’m a big whisky drinker!
