Steel Mage hail from Manchester and like to play thrash the old school way. I mention “school” because that’s where some of the of Steel Mage reside, which is hard to believe after speaking to them.

Formed only last year, Steel Mage have already released a single and an EP entitled The Uprising of Hatred which has elements of old Annihilator and Kreator amongst a host of other golden era thrash bands.
This young band are determined to make a go of this and putting all their spare time into making their next release which I for one am looking forward to listening to. Jack and Thomas chatted about the EP, touring commitments that they had this summer, influences, as well as what new material they are currently writing.
