With the news of gigs coming back, albeit with a limited capacity for now, Badgerfest looks to be running and we at Moshville Times are especially glad to hear that. At the time of writing, Badgerfest 2021 is now sold out [more tickets just released with lockdown easing! – Mosh], so congratulations to John Badger and the bands playing at the festival.

Next on my list of interviews are Manchester-based post-black metal outfit Agvirre who have been keeping busy during this lockdown writing material for their next release. Agvirre have created a name for themselves on the UK circuits with bigger things to come.
Agvirre like to make you feel very uncomfortable when listening to their music and will be in your face when playing Badgerfest and I mean that literally! However, after doing my research and interviewing the band, I will most definitely be catching them live at Badgerfest but maybe from the back row, especially if vocalist Chris has got anything to do with it. Rest assured, Agvirre play what they want to play in the vein of Deafheaven, Oathbreaker and the crazy Arcturs moments. Be sure to check them yourselves.
Fun Fact: Agvirre also have festival organiser and band workaholic John Badger playing for them!
