I love interviewing old school death metal bands, especially when they hail from my home country of Scotland. Scotland has a thriving old school death metal scene at the moment with bands such as Brainbath, Rancid Cadaver, Rend Them Asunder, Coffin Mulch, Aphotic, and The Head of the Traitor to name a few. This time I had the pleasure of interviewing a band that play old school death metal perfectly.
Penny Coffin have released two EPs and a compilation of said EPs in their short history, but if old school death metal is what you like, then you have to give these guys a listen. I have played them often on Moshville Radio and they have rightfully earned their place on my show as I only play music that I like… and I like Penny Coffin.
