Dan Carter of the mighty DC Sound Attack reached out to me asking if I would like to have a chat with Akilla. Our sister reviewer/interviewer/photographer Sheri Bicheno raves about these guys and often plays them on her radio show.
It felt like an opportunity that I could not turn down and after playing a festival the night before, I had the pleasure of being able to talk to the only one left standing, guitarist Dave.
