Thanks once again to Dan Carter of DC Sound Attack, I got to interview one of the legends of the UK death metal scene. Andy Whale is a name that all extreme metal fans are aware due to his unique drumming style and of course I don’t need to list what bands he has been involved with in his time in the music business.
Andy took some time out for health reasons but is well and truly back with a bang with DeathCollector, also featuring vocalist Kieran Scott (Ashen Crown), guitarist Mick Carey (Zealot Cult) and bassist Lee Cummings (Severe Lacerations), who have released an excellent album in the name of Death’s Toll.
This was an appropriate time then to find out what he has in store with DeathCollector, his health and even answered a trivia section at the end of the interview. Once again, this was an absolute honour for me and one that I will always .
