We are from Silkeborg in Denmark!
How long have you been playing together as a band?
Nakkeknaekker was formed in 2020!
Where does the name of the band come from?
The name Nakkeknaekker means ‘neckbreaker’ in Danish. A fitting description of our music if you ask us!
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
Our music is rooted in old-school death metal (think Entombed, Morbid Angel, Bloodbath) but also incorporates modern elements!
What’s your live show like? Why are people going to watch you instead of another band?
It’s a death metal party! High energy, and very mosh-friendly.

We were booked after playing the “When Copenhell Freezes Over” showcase in Copenhagen!

What are you working on at the moment?
At the moment we are working on our debut album!
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
Our singer Christoffer once broke his nose after jumping into the pit during our own show, then got back up and finished the set.
What drink do you throw back to get yourself fired up before going on stage?
Most likely a Monster, or sometimes a beer or two.
