Rancid Cadaver are another Scottish band who exploded onto the old school death metal revival with their debut recording Flesh Monstrosity last year. Often played on my dark metal show, I cannot resist the Mental Funeral era Autopsy with the riffs, vocals and overall sound. Rancid Cadaver are also one of those bands that when there is an extreme metal gig, they’re on the poster.

What the fans, which obviously includes myself, want is new music and wanting to know whether they are going to stay in this style or whether they are adding subtle touches here and there to their sound. As there is only one way to find out, I got the pleasure of speaking to guitarist Kieran and bassist/vocalist Ross to find out what they have in store for us (they were so bloody secretive though!).
