Sad days. It’s filtering through various grapevines that Joey Lacaze, drummer with EyeHateGod has died aged 42. I’m seeing lots of uses of “reportedly”, but it’s not been denied by the band so I’m thinking that it’s most likely true.
Secondly and slightly out of date as I think this was announced a couple of days ago, God Forbid are calling it a day. Dallas Coyle has, for reasons I’ve not heard about yet, chosen to leave the band.
With his departure, Corey Pierce announced that “God Forbid is over. Sorry.” Further Facebook posts from Byron Davis only went on to confirm this.
On a slightly more positive note, Crowbar drummer Tommy Buckley is resting in hospital after having his prostate gland removed. Cancerous cells were spotted at an early stage and he’s expected to make a full recovery.
