I just came across this today and the prizes so far look incredible! This isn’t just some signed Y-fronts from the Billy tour in the 1990’s, or photos of the band fish-dancing. These are genuine, good prizes! Except for the one where you meet all the bands as they’re all rather old and smelly by now.
They’re continuing to announce prize bundles for the raffle via the facebook page they’ve set up to publicise it with more to be added, so please give the page a like and check it regularly. Don’t forget that all money goes to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation (S.O.P.H.I.E.) which is about as worthy a cause as exists. So even if you’re not interested in the gig or prizes, they’ll still happily take donations. One mad arse has donated £100 to have their photo taken with the bands. Hasn’t he heard of Photoshop? Lunacy.
CLOSING DATES
The auction prize is a one-off and goes to the highest bidder. Closing date for bids is December 10th. Raffle ticket purchases (£5 per strip) are to be in by December 15th or, if you’re going to the Nottingham gig on December 20th, you can buy them there. The draw will be made on the night.
TICKET PURCHASES
Please check the facebook page for ticket purchase details as they’re being updated and further information will be published on Monday 11th November. At present it’s cheques and by post and I’d expect this to remain as one option.
THE AUCTION PRIZE
