Quebec City, Canada-based power metallers, SuddenFlames released their sophomore studio album Under the Sign of the Alliance on June 6th, via Canadian label Maple Metal Records.
Under the Sign of the Alliance was produced by Patrice Dalpé and SuddenFlames at SF Studio in Quebec City, and was mastered by Pierre Rémillard (Anvil, Kataklysm, Voivod) at Wild Studio, north of Montreal.
SuddenFlames were established in 2001 by front-man Jean-Robert Letarte and bassist Pascal Lacombe, and they quickly recruited two guitarists and a drummer. Finally in 2011 after a few member changes, SuddenFlames settled on the line-up that recorded their debut album Death Might be Late, which was remastered and re-released in 2013. The line-up listed below is the same one that is responsible for both albums including Under the Sign of the Alliance.

In recent years, SuddenFlames have shared the stage with such acts as Dragonforce, Stratovarius, Kamelot, Primal Fear, Raven, and ed Paul Di’Anno (ex-Iron Maiden) on a 7-city Canadian Tour.
SuddenFlames will be performing select shows throughout Ontario and Quebec this Fall in of their new album; dates have yet to be announced.
