twice – oops) Vanquish the King have come out of hiatus and released “Dream of Demise” on October 1st. The band has reformed with a new line-up and promises to be even bigger and better than before!
I was duly impressed with their EP a year or so ago, and the song “Dream of Demise” had just been released at that time. It was the kind of sound the band were aiming for, and they’re basing new material (currently being recorded) on that style.
As things stand, all music has been recorded for the new release with only vocals to be finished off. If I’m right, it will be called Pessimist. In the meantime, they’ve dropped a polished version of “Dream of Demise” on bandcamp, able as a “pay what you want” release.
