Garadh release new album

Garadh - Need A ChangeAfter several months of work and three years after The Burden of Absence, Swiss alternative/indie rock Garadh is proud to present its newborn: a third full-length effort called Need a Change, produced by Stephane Chapelle & Laurent Volanthen at the Kitchen Studio in Geneva (Disagony, The Black Widow’s Project…) and self-released by the band itself.

So after a successfully crowdfunding campaign through wemakeit, the album is available right now on CD and as a digital on the main legal platforms. In other news, the band is currently working on a new music video coming out soon and in the meantime just unveiled the first single extracted from the album, “Every Single Day”. You can check it out below.

Founded in 2004 by the Hay brotherhood (François, Edward and Matthieu), Garadh became a “real” band with the arrival of Yves Mabillard (guitar/bass) as fourth member. A few months later, they released a first recording as an 8-tracks demo (2005) with the aim to play a bunch of gigs. After some remarkable live appearances, Garadh signed with the Swiss label Blacksmithmusic in 2007 and unveiled its debut full-length album Ascent one year later.

In January 2012, the band released its second album, called The Burden of Absence and produced in 2011 by Nicolas Haerri from the Black Bear Agency (Promethee). Alain Douches (Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon…) handled the mastering at West West Side Music Studio in New York City, USA.
