Abandcalledboy have premiered their brand new single “LA Dick” on Team Rock, who describe the band’s output as “incredible, complex and challenging…with a heavy dose of intensity and attitude”.
Abandcalledboy are a four piece pop-infused noise-rock band from Belfast, Ireland who used to be band called “Boy”. Having gained the attention of the music press in the UK and Ireland with features in Rocksound, Hot Press, Goldenplec and The Thin Air, the band are set to release the newest instalment in a series of self-produced singles: the adoringly titled “LA Dick”.
Abandcalledboy’s snotty lyricism and startlingly melodic broad-band fuzz have seen them garner from BBC Radio 1 & BBC Radio 6 and the experimental punks have toured throughout the UK and Ireland, sharing the stage with acts such as The Futureheads, And So I Watch You From Afar and Rolo Tomassi.
