How do you capture the experience and atmosphere of a fantastic US wide tour from last Summer? Well, if you’re The Dollyrots, you capture the action of your hometown show and turn it into a brand new Live CD and DVD!
Teaming up with PledgeMusic to allow the band a truly collaborative experience with their fans through the creation and recording of the release, Family Vacation – Live In Los Angeles will be released in both the UK and USA on the 11th of March 2016. Available both as a double and double release CD/DVD, Family Vacation truly captures the fun, sweat, effort and unbridled energy that goes into a Dollyrots show.
There are a lot of fans who might never get out to a Dollyrots show in the flesh, so we did our best to bring the experience to them. The only things missing are the ringing ears and sweaty hugs…but other than that I think we nailed it! (Kelly Ogden, Vocals/Bass)
The announcement of Family Vacation means that The Dollyrots are in a unique position of preparing to release not one – but two brand new offerings in the next couple of months. Before Family Vacation hits the shelves in march The Dollyrots brand new studio E.P Mama’s Gonna Knock You Out (review here) will be heading everyone’s way on the 29th of January 2016. Packed with three brand new short sharp doses of spiky pop punk, Mama’s Gonna Knock You Out is the perfect high impact E.P to raise your spirits whenever you need a pick-me-up.

It’s not just all about new songs and new releases though – even though that is hugely exciting! Just as exciting is the news that The Dollyrots will be making a long awaited live return to the UK alongside Bowling For Soup on the huge “How About Another Round Tour” which begins in just three weeks time! Having toured the US with their good friends across the Summer of 2015, The Dollyrots will once again team up with Bowling For Soup by serving as main on all dates of the UK tour.
