Australian symphonic/cinematic metal band Darkyra have been forced to cancel their Dutch/German dates as frontwoman Darkyra Black (Gina Bafile) has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer and will commence chemotherapy treatments as of late next week. The band will reschedule their tour in a year’s time.
The band issued the following statement:
To those that were looking forward to seeing Darkyra live in Europe, we are sorry that we are unable to attend this tour but we feel that cancelling this trip was the best decision to make at this time and we offer all our love and to Gina during this tough time.
