Texas home-boy and all-round good guy Ryan Hamilton has just got home from a run of intimate dates in the UK to announce that he’s already well on the way to recording album number two and has launched a Pledge campaign to fund it. Given that Hell of a Day was one of the best albums we heard in 2015 (and it’s still on constant rotation here are Moshville Towers) to say that this is great news is an understatement.
As ever with Pledge campaigns, there’s a lot more than just a of the album on offer. From handwritten lyrics to test vinyl pressings to stage backdrops (oops – that one’s been sold!)… oh, or a day in a Scottish castle with Ryan as he records the album? That’s got to be worth a few (hundred) dollars!
The Pledge has two months to run and – after being online for a couple of hours – is almost at 20% funded already. Don’t forget that even if you go for the cheapest option (digital ) you get access to exclusive content, early previews of tracks and anything else that Ryan feels like ing.
Oh, and 2% of the goal – when funded – will go to the SPCA of Texas.
All we need now is a release date!
