It’s always good to hear of another band emerging from the developing period of releasing EPs and going for it with a full album. ing that club on June 10th will be sludge/stoner/power/bloody-hell-how-many-genres Hamburgers High Fighter.
Following on from their very well received 2014 EP The Goat Ritual, the five-piece will be releasing Scars & Crosses through Svart Records in a few weeks. Scars & Crosses was recorded live at RAMA Studio in Mannheim, (Ahab, The Hirsch Effekt, Fjørt & many more ) by Jens Siefert, and was mixed & mastered by none else than Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business) in Los Angeles. You’ll be able to pick it up as a 6-page CD digi pack, digital & gatefold LP.
Again the band worked with artist Dominic Sohor from the UK, who was responsible for the stunning artwork of the aforementioned The Goat Ritual. You can check out his new artwork over to the side. Click for a larger version.
