Cyprus’ winners in the heats to go forward to the Eurovision final was Minus One, a band featuring Harrys Pari of Winter’s Verge. Minus One also has Chris Ioannides on drums, who is a former member of the same band.
Minus One will be performing the song “Alter Ego” which you can listen to below, being played live at the semi-final. The band stated:
These are amazing news for Cyprus in general and Winter’s Verge in particular. We band are also very happy for our former drummer and good friend Chris Ioannides, who is with Minus One as well. We hope everyone votes for Cyprus, as a vote for Cyprus is a vote for Winter’s Verge and a vote for metal music!
