Metal Allegiance
In the run-up to their Sunday slot at Bloodstock this coming weekend, Metal Allegiance have dropped a new trailer for forthcoming EP Fallen Heroes. Mark Menghi is featured on the video talking about how the EP came into fruition. He comments:
We got pissed. We got upset. We got angry. Just because our heroes were leaving us. The people that inspired us to pick up instruments, to write music are no longer with us… that is where this came from.
Tim Browning and The Widowmakers
West Virginia based singer-songwriter Tim Browning and his band The Widowmakers have released their debut full length album “Bad Intentions”. Tim Browning and the Widowmakers hail from the deep dark hills of Appalachia. Born and bred in the coal-mining towns of West Virginia, they are the begotten songs of the blue collar bloodlines of America. Fusing together the dark folk/country roots of Johnny Cash with the harmonised guitar-lines of Gorham and Robertson (Thin Lizzy), they weave tales of back alley justice, crimes of ion in a world that has moved on.
Blackfoot
Blackfoot, the Southern American rock band who were originally formed in 1970’s by current lead guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rickey Medlock, are back with a new line-up and will release Southern Native on August 5, 2016. Over the last two years, Medlock wrote, performed on and produced Southern Native. The band released a video for the title track the other day, but we’d like to add to that with a behind-the-scenes feature to go with it.

The Darker My Horizon
