Bit of a scoop – and announced literally moments ago via a live video brainstorming session – Ryan Hamilton and the Traitors’ forthcoming live album will be released on May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day.
Ryan went online just to chat to his fans earlier, and as part of the discussion it was suggested to release the album on that date. Partly as Ryan’s a Star Wars fan and it ties in with some of the imagery they’ve been using on posters recently. Smart idea! Does anyone else know of an artist that has this level of one-to-one discussion and action based directly on fan ?
You should also check out Traitors’ Club, an ongoing club that Ryan set up which gets subscribers a new song each month as well as other goodies. It’s only £20 a year which works out pretty cheap given all that’s thrown your way for the fee.
And don’t forget that the band are out on the road in the UK come August!
