Agrona sign to UKEM Records

UKEM Records are very pleased to announce the g of Welsh black metal band Agrona! Formed in 2014, the band has quickly proven themselves to be a leading force in the UK Black Metal scene culminating in the bands 2016 appearance at Bloodstock Open Air after winning the Metal To The Masses competition.

We reviewed a CD they threw at us after the festival and… well, find out what we thought of it.

In 2017, Agrona entered Woodcroft Audio Studios to record their debut full length album which features 50 minutes of blackened metal savagery. Entitled Realm of The Fallen, UKEM Records will release this opus both on CD and digital platforms (release date TBC).

Carrier reveal debut single

Introducing South West hardcore outfit Carrier who have revealed their debut single release “Grieve” taken from their forthcoming EP Wither.

The hard hitting single premiered last this week and is the perfect offering to introduce the band to the UK. “Grieve” is a song written about death, expressing the feelings the band went through when they sadly lost a friend. The track is a reflection of the anger they felt, it’s painful and they wanted to give an opportunity to be angry with death as a concept and to be angry with the world for taking people too soon.
