Bloodline

Texas based alternative-metalcore band Bloodline released their highly anticipated, debut album, Insolent, on Friday! Fans can now stream and purchase the record on all major digital services.

In celebration of the release, Bloodline has also premiered a new video for their latest single “Lifeless” (below). Vocalist Joseph has this to say:

This song is for my little brother Alexander. Born on March 21, 2005, several weeks premature, he ed away shortly after on April 30, 2005 due to a congenital heart disease called hypoplastic right heart syndrome. I wrote this song as an open letter to my brother about what dealing with his death was like for me. Alexander is my motivation and I try to live my best life for the two of us but this song isn’t just for us. This song is for anyone that has lost a loved one too early. I hope you can find peace and growth in loss.

Dokken

Dokken long ago cemented their status as one of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal acts from the 80s scene with numerous successful albums, evergreen songs and tours. The tumultuous relationship between band is well documented and need not be repeated here, but the classic original line-up of Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown did reunite in 2016 to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan.

Fortunately, cameras were there to capture the performance and now Frontiers is set to issue Return To The East Live 2016 on CD/DVD, Blu-Ray, box set and vinyl. The inclusion of a brand new studio song entitled “It’s Another Day” and two acoustic reworkings of classic tracks by the original band help to make this an extra special album.

The album is out on April 20th and can be pre-ordered now.

Ancient Oak Consort

Ancient Oak Consort come back to the scenes with the third album Hate War Love that will be out on May 18th. The album is a majestic opera of 17 tracks that mix prog rock/metal and the chamber music with Mediterranean folk influences inspired by great composers like Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota.
