Blackpool’s Rebellion Festival, running from the 2nd to the 5th of August at T
he Winter Gardens, has confirmed a special live Q&A session with Public Image Limited (PiL) and Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon, nicely lining up with PiL’s 40th anniversary as a band.
The Q&A will take place on the final day of the festival prior to PiL closing the festival with a headline set on the Sunday night. The interview will be conducted by journalist Barry Cain at The Opera House.
This year’s lineup again boasts a fine marriage of new school and old school punk and alternative music. The bill is headed up chronologically by Buzzcocks, The Exploited, Stiff Little Fingers and PiL. Also appearing across the 4-day-weekend are Cockney Rejects, Discharge, The Wildhearts, Anti Nowhere League, Subhumans, D.R.I., The Menzingers, Bad Cop / Bad Cop and many, many others.
We’re told there are yet more bands to the bill in addition to stage times and other festival details. Check out the day splits and a variety of different ticket options on the festival’s official site below.
