Many of you won’t be aware of the name Jon Schnepp but will have enjoyed his work. Schnepp directed many episodes of the classic cartoon series Metalocalypse – the band’s scary phone ringtone is the one I’ve been using for a few years now.
Sadly, he ed away today as the result of a blood stroke. Doctors did what they could, but with all brain functions ceasing it was the decision of his partner Holly and sister Deborah to end life .
Schnepp also wrote the recent comic book series based on Slayer’s “Repentless”, as well as a documentary based on a Superman movie that never got made.
As ever, our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues and we celebrate his life with an example of the work he helped create.
