We don’t often put up industry posts, but we’ve known Incendia and their founder Lulu Davis for many years and we’re genuinely over the moon to report on a big bit of news for them. Lulu has worked wonders since she founded Incendia in 2011, sadly having to prove herself against an initial undercurrent of “you’re a woman, this is a man’s field”. We couldn’t be happier to be reporting that her naysayers were sexist twats and she and Incendia are on the rise.
Following the business’s induction into the inaugural Accelerator Programme (sponsored by the MMF and Youtube) at the start of 2019, Incendia Music has announced the first substantial expansion of the business since its inception in 2011.
The newly-launched website reveals the acquisition of two new managers and seven new artists to the organisation’s management roster.
Bringing a wealth of experience from a combined twenty years of experience in the music business, Brady Deeprose and Paul Waller have now ed the management team at Incendia.
Known to many as the frontman of Ohhms (Holy Roar Records), Paul promotes a broad level of knowledge and experience from performance, promotion and journalism, and announces a management roster featuring Ohhms (self-management), Coldbones, Mountain Caller, and Harrowed.
Brady Deeprose is also renowned for his efforts as an active performing artist, being the guitarist/vocalist in growing metal band Conjurer, who have just signed a deal for their new album with Nuclear Blast and Holy Roar Records. Brady has signed newcomers Bailer, and Pijn who are also on Holy Roar, and is bringing his experience of self-managing Conjurer for 2 years to the table.
Another addition to the roster includes Norwegian 7-piece experimental ensemble Major Parkinson, who Voyager (Season of Mist) and The Five Hundred (Long Branch Records) on Lulu Davis’ own management roster.
Reflecting back on the inception of her company, Lulu comments
I’ve taken Incendia from being a 1 woman operation in 2011 to a fully fledged team in 2019 who all share a common goal. Incendia now consists of a team of 4 people; myself, Luke my assistant publicist and Paul and Brady. I’d also like to welcome Harbottle and Lewis as our legal team, and Mark Carr & Co our s Team. Special thanks as well to Asylum Seventy7 and Jess Johnston for all of their hard work on the graphics and website delivery, taking our brand to the next level. None of this would have been possible without the and guidance from the Music Manager’s Forum and I am very grateful to be a part of their Accelerator Programme, which has done exactly what it set out to do, accelerating careers and businesses within music management.
