As with many venues at the moment, Bannerman’s Bar in Edinburgh is closed… which is a problem when your revenue stream relies on you not having the shutters down! Bannerman’s is a genuinely legendary bar and gig venue, our own photographer Gary Cooper pretty much lives there and it’s played host to a staggering number of live acts.
To help tide them over until they’re allowed to serve up beer and live music once again, they’ve started a crowdfunding campaign. Once they hit their personal target, any additional funds will go to the Music Venue Trust’s #SaveOurVenues campaign to hundreds of other businesses up and down the country.
Please give generously! Once this is over, we’d all like to have somewhere to actually go!
