Metallica have finally announced the release date of their two filmed performances with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra last year. Filmed at Chase Center in San Francisco, California on September 6 and 8, the recordings where initially released in cinemas around the world last October to extremely positive reviews from fans and media alike.

Scheduled for release on August 28th, the recordings have been re-edited, remixed and remastered by both the band and legendary producer Greg Fidelman.
The release can be pre-ordered in a variety of formats including, vinyl, blu-ray and digital from the official Metallica store.
